Devious Journal Entry

Sun Nov 22, 2009, 2:53 AM
In all the world, only two things are true.

Nothing is universal.
There is an opposite for everything.

Dualities rule us, push and pull against each other eternally bringing change and the unchanging. To every force of the worldly and the unworldly, there is an opposing force though equality is not always the name of the game. In the end the strongest wins, the strongest is right, and the weak is pushed aside, shunned. This will be.

Even the most minuscule imbalance can bring incredible change, and through change there is loss and there is creation. The endless in and out of breath someday becomes the last gasp, which also begets the first squall of birth. Up becomes down becomes up again, and so we go 'round. This will be.

Though for every inequality of existence there may be, somewhere, a natural balance. A place and time where the opposition rests against itself and simply is.

This is my purpose.

I am the opposite to him, my tranquility will calm his obsessive and endless search for answers. My certainty in myself will anchor his desire for experience. I am the self he returns to when he has finished playing his roles and is ready to be one person again.

When he is done being everyone else, he comes home to become me.
